![]() On March 10th, the 2007 Catholic Women of Faith Conference was held at St Philip Catholic Church in Franklin, TN. Over one thousand women attended and were blessed and refreshed; leaving proud to be a Catholic Woman of Faith! This extraordinary day of worship included guest speakers; Rosalind Moss, Therese Cirner, and Sr. Jane Dominic Laurel, O.P. "I Rejoice" concert by Sarah Hart. Please see our 2007 Highlights section for pictures taken during the conference. If you attended the conference, we would love to hear from you! Please contact us with any feedback you have to let us know if you enjoyed the conference and/or if you have any ideas to make it even better! Here are a couple testimonies we have received:
Born and raised in a Jewish home, Rosalind in her adult years embraced Jesus as the Messiah of the Jewish people. Her initial conversion took her from a 15-year business career as a successful executive with corporations in New York and California to full-time Evangelical ministry, earning a master's degree in Ministry from Talbot Theological Seminary. A series of events in the Summer of 1990 set her on a compelling course to find out if the Catholic Church is in fact the Church Christ established 2,000 years ago. After 18 years of Evangelical Protestantism, she entered the Catholic Church at Easter 1995. Rosalind is the editor of Home at Last, 11 Who Found Their Way to the Catholic Church. In addition to the semi-monthly radio program, "From the Heart" on "Catholic Answers Live", Rosalind, together with Kristine Franklin, co-hosts EWTN's "Household of Faith" and "Now That We're Catholic!"
Therese is the author of the book, "Six Keys to a Deeper Spiritual Life", a practical guide to drawing nearer to God. Presently, she is Host for the yearly Catholic Women's Conference at Franciscan University, which draws over 700 women each summer. Therese's professional qualifications combined with her deep walk with Jesus provide the foundation for spiritually dynamic and life changing presentations. Therese loves to share the good news of Salvation as well as how to grow deeper into the life of the Trinity, and has a special ministry to women of all ages.
Sister has served as RCIA lecturer, Spiritual Promoter for the Third Order Dominicans, and guest speaker/lecturer on various topics related to religious life and theology, speaking for young adult groups, parenting groups, and others in U.S. cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, Dallas, and Southbend. She enjoys teaching immensely and considers it one of the greatest privileges that can be afforded a person--to be entrusted with the formation of human souls.
Listening to Sarah's music, you will immediately be hooked by her sweet compelling voice that raises you to a higher place. As you follow the lyrics, you become immersed in the spirituality of a dynamic woman of faith who helps us to discover the obvious God who walks with us in our daily lives. Sarah's latest collection is an intimate self-portrait, a musical window offering glimpses into the rooms of her life, each of them containing, she says, "a little part of me." Featuring Sarah's joyous folk-pop style and poetic, introspective lyrics, Into These Rooms is impressive for its spiritual depth and sophisticated, multi-layered, tightly produced sound. |
